To the listening of water’s flow You Know…?
As words are of a story And the story goes out dancing
In a natural lost and found out way In the same time of life’s easing
You Down a worn pebbly path
There is the music in your own erosion Of simple twists and turning leaves
The music of speaking About aging digests … you
You Spirit with grace
His heart’s wisdom laughs And lets you relate to the fall of your mask
There are present mirrors here And the hearing lets you see
And its oozing with old truths that bubble and … Oh, how we so must be crazy
Somehow his writing’s roll bye, bye, and bye Through pools of sharp crystals and more clear confusion
… and just when you feel he has given … … you some safe escape of fiction …
He leaves you to pose with a mind-seed of art
With fallings to tender Your own understandings
